About us

 

私たちは月に１回、土曜日の午前に阿倍野または難波市民学習センターに集まり活動しています。中～上級の方々向けの、ディスカッションを活動の中心とした英会話サークルです。

 

 

トピックは

 

１）最近あったことや比較的カジュアルな話題について会話。

 ２）記事と質問入りのトピックを用意し、その話題に関して議論。

 

内容は、語学、旅行から社会問題に至るまで幅広く取り扱っています。

  

特定の話題について話すとなると、日常会話とは違った難しさがあり、また、意見の異なるもの同士が議論を交わすことでコミュニケーション力の向上にもつながります。基本的に日本人のみの参加者ですが、参加者がより多く話せること、より良い議論を展開できることに重きをおき、グループ分けした上で、司会者が順番に意見、コメントを求めながら廻していきます。

１）留学して帰ってきたけど、普段なかなか英語を話す機会がない

２）ただ話すだけでなくテーマを決めてコミュニケーション力もあげたい

３）少しでも話す機会をもって英語力を維持したい

 

 また、英語に対するモチベーションの高い方も歓迎します。もちろん出身や国籍も問いません。和やかでゆるい雰囲気の中で英会話を楽しめる、というのが私達のセールスポイントです。毎週行くのが難しい人、他の英会話サークルと掛け持ちしたい人もOKです。

 

 

This is the circle for English learners. It was set up for the people in the upper intermediate level.

 

 

Contents

1) Talk about what’s new and casual topics

2) Pick up an article and discuss the issue preparing some questions(Field; language, travelling, social issues etc.,)

 

Unlike casual conversation, in order to talk about a specified topic, higher conversation skills and the knowledge is required for better debates. This helps us develop our communication skills.

 

One of the members facilitates the meeting so that the participants can have more chances to talk, more constructive discussion even when all the participants are Japanese.

1) Interact with the participants and learn Japanese culture and customs

2) Have more chances to speak English and keep your English skills

3) Expand their knowledge and develop communication skills through talking about various topics

 

It’s open to whoever wants to enjoy speaking English with us regardless experiences, or nationalities!!

 

We welcome any participants of non-native Japanese speaker and/or having high motivation toward English.
